At the 1st Global Citizenship Education (GCE) gathering, the international cooperation organizations (ICOs) that are members of AQOCI stressed the importance of increasing the impact of their GCE work and of better asserting and gaining recognition for their expertise in this field among various partners — particularly in education — and among the general public. In this spirit, this framework is meant to be inclusive and unifying. Far from being a tool of exclusion that defines “the truth”, it expresses AQOCI’s current vision and values the diverse work of all its members. Each international cooperation organization has its own particularities and colours and therefore brings GCE to life in its own way. This diversity is certainly one of the great strengths of our network!
