- You must make sure that WordPress, SPIP and plugin updates are carried out regularly. A site that hasn’t been updated in more than 6 months becomes a prime target for hackers.
- You must regularly review the accounts that have administrator access to your site and remove people who should no longer have access. You can also change their role so that they no longer have full access to your site.

- If you or one of your site’s administrators has a computer infected by malware or a virus, your site could be compromised. Any infection should be reported and all passwords used by that person changed. A password manager will then become your best asset!
